At YolePet, we take pride in crafting high-quality, personalized pet ID tags designed to keep your furry friends safe. Due to the custom-made nature of our products, we have a specific policy for returns and refunds. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Our Manufacturing Warranty (For Defective Items)
We stand behind the quality of our products. YolePet warrants that all products will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery. This means if your tag has a manufacturing flaw (e.g., a broken ring upon arrival, a clasp that fails, or significant, unclear engraving that is our fault), we will make it right.
What is Covered by This Warranty:
- Structural defects (e.g., cracks in the metal/plastic, broken attachment points).
- Significant engraving errors made by us (e.g., deep scratches not part of the design, missing entire lines of text, illegible engraving due to our error).
- Faulty components (e.g., split rings that do not close).
2. What is NOT Covered & Non-Returnable
ALL SALES OF CUSTOMIZED/PERSONALIZED ITEMS ARE FINAL.
Once you approve and submit your personalized design for production, it is made specifically for you. Therefore, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for the following reasons:
- Customer-Provided Errors: Any mistake in the personalized text, phone number, address, or design choice that you submitted and approved during the design process. (This is the most common issue. Please PROOFREAD your design meticulously before ordering!).
- Change of Mind: You no longer want the item, you ordered the wrong size/shape, or you don’t like the color as it appears in person (colors may vary slightly from screen to screen).
- Pet’s Dislike or Fit: Your pet doesn’t like the tag, or it doesn’t fit your collar as expected (please check our size guides).
- Minor Cosmetic Variations: Slight, natural variations in material grain, color tone, or hand-finishing that are inherent to a crafted product.
- Damage After Delivery: Normal wear and tear, loss of the tag, or damage caused by pet chewing, accidents, or improper use.
3. Process for a Warranty Claim
If you believe you have received a defective item covered by our warranty, you must contact us within 30 days of the delivery date.
Step 1: Contact Us.
Email our Support Team at demiliu2025@icloud.com with your order number and photos or a short video clearly showing the defect.
Step 2: Our Review.
Our team will review your claim and media within 3-5 business days. We may request additional information.
Step 3: Resolution.
If your claim is approved, we will, at our sole discretion, either:
- Replace the defective item with the same customized design at no cost to you, or
- Issue a full refund to your original payment method.
We will provide a prepaid return shipping label if we require the defective item to be returned. Please do not ship anything back until instructed to do so.
4. Refunds (If Applicable)
- Timing: Once a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. The time it appears on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
- Non-Defective Items: As stated, refunds are only issued for items covered under our Manufacturing Warranty. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or customer error.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For warranty replacements, we cover the return and re-shipment costs.
5. Incorrect or Undelivered Items
If you receive:
- The Wrong Item: (e.g., a completely different design than what you ordered). Contact us immediately at demiliu2025@icloud.com. We will send you the correct item and provide a prepaid label to return the incorrect one.
- An Undelivered Package: (Tracking shows “delivered” but you do not have it). Please first check with your household, neighbors, and local postal carrier. If it is truly lost, contact us. We will investigate with the shipping carrier. Claims for lost packages must be filed within 14 days of the marked delivery date.
6. International Orders & Duties
- Returns/Replacements: Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs and import duties/taxes for international warranty returns, unless the defect is due to our error. We will cover the cost to reship the replacement.
- Refused Shipments: If you refuse an international delivery, you will be responsible for the original shipping costs, any return fees, and a 15% restocking fee. The remaining balance will be refunded.
