These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the YolePet.com website (“Site”) and all purchases of custom pet identification tags, accessories, and related products (“Products”). Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing our Site, using our design tools, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About YolePet

YolePet (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates as an e-commerce platform specializing in personalized pet identification products. We provide an online design studio and global fulfillment services for pet owners seeking high-quality, customizable ID tags for their dogs, cats, and other companion animals.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. You may browse our Site as a guest. Creating an account is optional but may provide benefits such as order tracking and saved designs. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Orders & Pricing

  • Order Confirmation: Placing an item in your shopping cart does not constitute a confirmed order. An order is officially confirmed only when we send you an Order Confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to, product availability, errors in pricing or product description, or suspected fraud.
  • Pricing & Currency: All prices displayed on YolePet.com are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change without notice. The total charge for your order will include the product price plus applicable sales tax (where required) and shipping fees, all calculated and displayed at checkout.
  • Payment: We use secure, third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) to process transactions. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the full order amount to your selected payment method.

4. Personalization & Your Responsibilities

  • Accuracy is Crucial: The core of our service is customization. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all personalized text, contact information, and design selections (“Your Content”) that you submit for engraving or printing. YolePet is not liable for any errors, typos, or omissions in the final Product that originated from the content you provided. We strongly recommend proofreading all information multiple times before finalizing your order.
  • Content License & Acceptable Use: By submitting Your Content, you grant YolePet a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely for the purpose of manufacturing and fulfilling your order. You warrant that Your Content is accurate, owned by you, and does not infringe upon any third-party rights. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Production, Shipping & Delivery

  • Processing Times: Each Product page lists an estimated production time. This timeframe begins once your order and payment are confirmed. These are estimates, and YolePet is not liable for reasonable delays due to material sourcing, high order volumes, or force majeure events.
  • International Shipping: We ship worldwide from our production facilities. Shipping costs, estimated delivery windows, and any applicable import duties or taxes are calculated at checkout and are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated in a promotion. Delivery times are provided by carriers and are not guaranteed by YolePet.
  • Risk of Loss: Title to the Products and risk of loss passes to you upon our delivery of the order to the shipping carrier.

6. Returns, Refunds & Warranty

  • Our Limited Warranty: We warrant that our Products will be free from material manufacturing defects for a period of 30 days from delivery. This warranty covers issues like broken rings, faulty clasps, or significant engraving flaws that are our fault.
  • What is NOT Covered: This warranty does NOT cover:
    • Normal wear and tear.
    • Damage from pet chewing, abuse, or improper use.
    • Dissatisfaction with color variations (due to monitor settings).
    • Errors in personalized content provided by the customer.
  • Return Policy for Defective Items: If you believe you received a defective Product, contact our Customer Service team at [support@yolepet.com] within 30 days of delivery. We may require photos/video as proof. For eligible claims, we will, at our discretion, replace the Product or issue a refund. Customized items cannot be returned due to change of mind.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds, when issued, will be credited to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, and the overall “look and feel,” is the property of YolePet or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws. Our online design tools and configurators are proprietary technology.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • Product Purpose: Our ID tags are designed as an auxiliary identification aid. They are not a substitute for permanent identification methods like microchipping. YolePet does not guarantee that a tag will remain on a pet’s collar or be legible at all times. It is the pet owner’s responsibility to ensure the tag is securely attached and information is current.
  • General Disclaimer: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOLEPET DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PRODUCTS.
  • Total Liability: OUR MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR PRODUCTS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
