This Payments Policy outlines the accepted payment methods, transaction security, and financial terms for all purchases made on YolePet.com. By completing a transaction on our Site, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
Currently, YolePet accepts payments exclusively through our secure PayPal integration.
- PayPal Account: You can pay directly using your existing PayPal account balance, linked bank account, or debit/credit cards saved within your PayPal wallet.
- PayPal Guest Checkout (Credit/Debit Card): You do not need a PayPal account to complete your purchase. At checkout, you may select the “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” option via PayPal. This allows you to securely enter your card details as a guest without creating a PayPal account.
2. Secure Payment Processing
All payment transactions are processed directly by PayPal, a globally recognized and secure payment gateway. YolePet does not store, process, or have direct access to your full credit card or bank account details at any point during the transaction.
- Security: PayPal uses industry-standard encryption and fraud prevention systems to protect your financial information. Your payment details are handled in compliance with PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements.
- Data: The financial information you provide is subject to PayPal’s Privacy Policy. We only receive information necessary to confirm and fulfill your order (e.g., billing name, email, shipping address, and order amount).
3. Order Confirmation & Currency
- Valid Payment: You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any payment method you employ.
- Order Confirmation: Your order is not final until payment authorization is received and confirmed by PayPal. Upon successful payment, you will receive an Order Confirmation email from YolePet. If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed.
- Currency: All transactions on YolePet.com are charged in US Dollars (USD). If you are using a card issued in another currency, your bank or card issuer will apply their own exchange rate and may charge an international transaction fee. YolePet is not responsible for these fees or the exchange rate applied.
4. Pricing, Taxes & Shipping
- Product Prices: Prices displayed on product pages are in USD.
- Sales Tax: Sales tax will be added to your order total where required by law, based on your shipping address. The applicable tax will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete payment.
- Shipping Fees: Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and chosen delivery speed, and are added to your subtotal at checkout. The final total (Product Price + Tax + Shipping) is the amount charged to your payment method.
5. Payment Authorization & Failed Transactions
- Authorization: By providing your payment information, you authorize us (through PayPal) to charge the full order total at the time of purchase.
- Failed/Declined Payments: If your payment fails or is declined, we will notify you via email and your order will not enter production. Please ensure your payment method has sufficient funds and correct billing information. You may attempt to place the order again with an updated payment method.
- Pre-authorization: In some cases, your card issuer may place a temporary “hold” or pre-authorization on funds for the order amount. This is not an actual charge but may affect your available balance temporarily.
6. Refunds
All refunds, when approved under our [Returns & Refunds Policy](link to your refund policy), will be issued back to the original payment method used for the purchase via PayPal. The timing for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution but typically takes 5-10 business days after we process the refund. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
7. Disputes & Chargebacks
