This policy outlines our shipping procedures, delivery timeframes, and related information for orders placed on YolePet.com. Please read this carefully to understand how and when your personalized pet ID tag will arrive.
1. Order Processing & Production Time
All YolePet items are made-to-order. This means we start crafting your personalized tag after your order and payment are confirmed.
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days. This is the time required for our team to prepare materials, engrave, and finish your personalized tag. This period excludes weekends and Chinese public holidays.
- Production Start: Orders are processed in the sequence they are received. Once production begins, orders cannot be modified or cancelled.
- Delay Notifications: In rare cases of exceptionally high demand, processing may extend beyond 5 days. We will notify you via email if a significant delay occurs.
2. Shipping Method & Transit Times
We currently ship all international orders via China Post (International Registered Air Mail). This is our only available shipping method at this time.
- Shipping Notification: Once your order is produced, quality-checked, and packaged, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.
- Standard Transit Time: After dispatch from our facility, the estimated delivery time to most international destinations is approximately 2 weeks (10-14 business days). This is an average estimate provided by the postal service.
- Important Notice – Customs & Potential Delays: International shipments must pass through customs inspection in both China and your destination country. This process is beyond our control.
- Potential Major Delay: If your package is selected for random customs inspection, it can be delayed by an additional 2 weeks or more.
- Total Possible Timeline: Therefore, the total delivery time from the date of shipment could range from 2 weeks to 4 weeks (or occasionally longer), depending entirely on customs processing speed.
- Transit Time Summary: Please plan accordingly and understand that the estimated “2-week” delivery is not a guarantee, but a pre-customs average. The timeline below is a realistic guideline:
- Processing: 3-5 business days
- Pre-Customs Transit: 5-10 business days
- Customs Clearance (Variable): 0-14+ business days
- Local Delivery: 2-5 business days
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination country and the weight of your package. You will see the exact shipping cost before finalizing payment. We do not offer free shipping or alternative shipping carriers at this time.
4. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
- Customs Declarations: We are required by law to accurately declare the value and description (e.g., “Personalized Metal Pet Tag”) on all customs forms. We cannot underdeclare value or mark items as “gifts.”
- Your Responsibility: The customer is solely responsible for paying any and all customs duties, import taxes (e.g., VAT, GST), or brokerage fees charged by the destination country. These fees are not included in your product price or shipping cost paid to YolePet.
- Tax Collection: We do not collect destination-country import taxes at checkout. You may be required to pay these fees directly to your local postal service or customs authority upon your package’s arrival before you can receive it.
5. Order Tracking & Delivery
- Tracking: Your shipping confirmation email will contain a China Post tracking number. You can track your package’s journey on the China Post website or using universal tracking sites like 17track.net. Please note that tracking updates may be less frequent or detailed than with private couriers, especially during international transit and customs hold.
- Delivery Address: You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. YolePet is not responsible for packages lost, returned, or significantly delayed due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
- “Delivered” Status: If the tracking shows “Delivered” but you have not received your package, please:
- Check with neighbors, your building’s reception, or designated safe drop-off areas.
- Contact your local post office with the tracking number for more specific delivery details.
- If unresolved, email us at demiliu2025@icloud.com within 7 days of the marked delivery date for assistance.
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
- Damaged Items: If your package arrives visibly damaged, please take clear photos of the damaged packaging and the product itself immediately upon receipt. Contact us at demiliu2025@icloud.com within 48 hours with your order number and photos.
- Lost in Transit: A package is considered potentially lost if there have been no tracking updates for more than 30 days after the shipment date. In such cases, contact us. We will open a formal investigation with China Post. For packages verified as lost by the postal service, we will, at our discretion, either reship your order or issue a refund.
7. Order Changes & Cancellations
Due to our fast production schedule, you may request to cancel or modify your order only within 12 hours of placing it, and strictly before production has started. Please email us immediately at demiliu2025@icloud.com. We cannot guarantee changes or cancellations after this window.
